“The accommodation was excellent for us. The games room was a real joy for the evenings and kept the whole family entertained. The bed in the main bedroom was probably the comfiest I have ever slept in. None of the kids had a bad word to say about their rooms. Overall an excellent holiday let and I will certainly go back.”
Mr Knox, Orkney

“The cottage was absolutely fabulous and well equipped with everything you could wish for. The views were amazing and the beach was ideal for walking. The cottage was ideally situated for visiting the surrounding area. The owner was extremely helpful before we arrived and upon arrival. Our party ranged from 6 months to over 60 and there was something for everyone in this cottage. The games room was brilliant for all age groups.”

“Fantastic house for holidaying with for 4 kids and 2 dogs easily.”
Dr Cahill, Glasgow

“The booking was made at very short notice and the owner met us as we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The house was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. A short walk to the beach was ideal for the dogs.”
Mr Paton-Eley, Wakefield

“Loved the feel and homeliness of the house as well as the fact that it was a historical listed building. Lovely period features, emphasised by the owners good eye for furnishings and items displayed in the rooms, like living in a costume drama! The reception rooms and kitchen were cosy, not over large so even though there was only 2 of us, we did not rattle around in the house. The first floor landing window alcove that looks out to sea was a lovely novelty. There was good, easy to use laundry machines and the couple of times we put the central heating on for an hour in the evening the place warmed up so quickly I think the house would be cosy in colder weather.”
Ms Collis, Abingdon

“The house made it very easy to access all areas in the Lake District and Scotland. Perfect location.”
Mr Cooling, Leeds
